Curriculum Vitae
Angelica Moè graduated in Psychology from the University of Padua and obtained her PhD in 1997. Since 1998, she has been a fellow, then a research fellow, and finally a researcher since 2002 and associate professor since 2015 in the M-PSI/01 (GSD PSIC-01/A) sector at the Department of General Psychology.
She teaches Psychology of Motivation and Emotions, Psychology of Personality and Individual Differences, and modules on motivation in postgraduate courses: PhD, specialisation school, master's degree.
She established and directs the Master's Degree in School Psychology and the General Course in Psychology of Learning and Well-being at School. She is president of the Master's degree course in Applied Cognitive Psychology, representative of the Permanent Commission for Teaching at the Department of General Psychology, representative of the Final Exams Commission and the Library Commission of the School of Psychology, representative of the Teacher Training Support Group and the Equal Opportunities and Gender Equality Commission at the University. He is also a member of several national and international research associations, including ISPA, EARLI, CIRPA, executive editor of Teacher and Teaching Education, and regular referee for journals such as Learning and Individual Differences, Personality and Individual Differences, Teachers and Teaching, Journal of Educational Psychology, Educational Psychology, and Journal of School Psychology. She is part of the OPPV's School Psychology working group.
Her research focuses on motivational and emotional processes and the promotion of well-being throughout life, with a particular focus on education and nature trails.
She is also interested in factors that can promote gender equality.
Her main current lines of research include:
promotion of self-determined motivation and well-being
gender differences in cognitive tasks and associated beliefs
motivations and emotions in teaching and learning
She is currently scientific unit leader in the RESONATE- RESilience through NATurE-based therapies (Horizon-CL6-2022) and Valorlegno – Wood and wellbeing (PR Veneto FESR 2021-2027) projects, and a member of Connaturalp - CONNECTING NATURE AND HEALTH IN THE ALPS (INTERREG Italy-Austria 2021-2027), PRIN entitled Indoor and outdoor school environment impact on students' cognition, affect, socialisation, and well-being (MUR 2022MBPWH7) and boasts numerous collaborations with colleagues from European and non-EU universities.
She is the author of numerous publications in specialist journals and university textbooks on motivation, emotions and well-being, and is also involved in third mission activities to disseminate effective ways of strengthening motivation and promoting well-being to the general public.
