ROMANIA VINCENZO

VINCENZO ROMANIA is a confirmed Associate Professor in General Sociology (SPS/07) at the University of Padua. Since April 2018, he holds a National Habilitation as Full Professor in the field 14C1 (General Sociology). He currently holds the following teaching positions: Sociology, CdL Triennale in Comunicazione; Sociologia delle Mobilità Umane e Laboratorio di Scrittura Scientifica, CdL Magistrale in Pluralismo culturale, mutamento sociale e migrazioni.
He is a member of the Teaching Commission of the PhD Course in Social Sciences. At FISPPA he is also a member of the board of the CIRSIM Interdepartmental Centre, of the scientific committee of the Master's Degree Course in Religion, Politics and Citizenship, and chairman of the Teaching Improvement Commission 2023.
He took up his post as a researcher at the same university on 1 October 2006 and was confirmed in this position on 1 October 2009. He took up his post as a confirmed associate professor on 1 March 2015.
From Nov. 2016 to Jan. 2023, he was first secretary and then member of the board of the AIS Section of 'Sociological Theories and Social Transformations'.
He regularly conducts seminars at the PhD in 'Social Sciences' and at the master's programme in 'Religion, Politics and Citizenship'.
