Marina De Rossi, born in Venice, on 14/07/1962 is Full Professor of Didactics and Special Pedagogy, SSD M-PED/03 at the Department of Philosophy, Sociology, Pedagogy, Applied Psychology-FISPPA, University of Padua.

The main research interests are in the area of methodologies for education and training; educational technologies and media education; multidimensional models for initial and continuing teacher education. Recent research topics are developed in the area of reflection on models of integration of ICT in school and university teaching (TPACK framework, ICT-TPCK) and on digital narrative methodologies in educational, training, and research contexts (Digital Storytelling, digital narrative documentation, video-research). She teaches Teaching Methodologies and Technologies for Teaching, Communication, and Educational Mediation in Cooperative Contexts at the Master's Degree of Science in Primary School of the University of Padua and Methodological Approaches and Technological Environments for Teaching in Secondary School. She is the coordinator of international scientific research projects with North Texas University (U.S.A.), Windesheim University (N.L.) and Rhodes University (South Africa), and of national projects with MIUR and USR of Veneto. At the University of Padua, she is Delegate of the Rector for Teacher Training, President of the Master's Degree Course LM/85 bis Science of Primary Education, and coordinator of the 24 CFU course for the training of secondary school teachers. She directs the reference series Educational tools for early childhood (Carocci Ed.) and is a member of editorial, scientific and referee committees of several international journals. He is an elected member of the steering committees of SIREM and RUIAP.
