TINAZZI FABIO

Fabio Tinazzi received the M.Sc. degree in Mechatronics Engineering and the Ph.D. degree in Mechatronic and Product InnovationEngineering from University of Padova in 2011 and 2016, respectively. He started his research activity while he was doing his master thesis at the University of Aalborg, DK, as recipient of a 7 months Erasmus Fellowship. He worked on a maximum torque-per-ampere control algorithmfor synchronous motors. After defending his thesis at the University of Padova in 2011, he started collaborating with the Electric Drives group ofthe Integrated Mechatronics Laboratory of the same University, Dept. of Management and Engineering (DTG). Fabio Tinazzi started his PhDwithin the same laboratory and he worked on advanced electric drives for mechatronics applications. While doing the PhD, he was invited tostay for 6 months at The University of Nottingham, UK. He got a PostDoc grant in 2016 to work about the energy efficient advanced control andmodelling of PM-assisted and synchronous reluctance motor drives. From February 2017 till January 2020 he was Assistant Professor with timecontract according to art.24 paragraph 3 letter a) of Italian Law 240/2010 within the DTG, where he taught several courses regarding the electricdrives. He taught the course of Electric Power Conversion Equipment at the Free University of Bozen in 2017 and 2020. He received theNational Scientific Qualification for Associate Professor in Power Electronics, Electrical Machines and Drives in January, 2020. Since January 2021 he is an Assistant Professor with time contract according to art.24 paragraph 3 letter b) of Italian Law 240/2010 at the University of Padova, DTG.
