- This award has been tributed to Prof. Pietro Ruggieri in recognition of his dedication to orthopaedic oncology and research over the past 30 years, mainly in the filed of orthopaedic oncology. In the Presidential Lecture addressed to him to tribute the award, the Commite reported :" In view of your international reputation as an outstanding orthopaedic surgeon, the Executive Committee of EFORT would like to invite you to hold the “Professor Erwin Moscher Honorary Lecture” during our forthcoming congress in London".
Prof. Ruggieri's lecture was: “Progresses of Musculoskeletal Oncology In the Last Decades and Future Perspectives”.
